Welcome to the International Institute of Infection and Immunity located at the Shantou Medical College in Shantou, China. The mission of the institute is to increase our understanding of human infectious diseases through the use of genomics, proteomics and molecular epidemiology. With over forty scientists, technicians, post doctoral fellows and students we are pursuing research programs in SARS, Dengue Fever, seasonal influenza, Avian Influenza and other infectious diseases.
